Lamps

Been having fun lately making custom lamps for friends as presents. I am using LED strips with a tiny ESP32-C3 XIAO controller. Allows me to use WLED for simple modifiable effects or to just program a single effect in C++ in the case of the guitar.

These projects have led me to play around more with 3D printed diffusers. I really like the effect that transparent filament makes in the Pretty Lights lamp. I played around with multiple different layer patterns which all have drastically different light diffusion properties. The white filament is nice too for getting a soft even lighting.

All of the designs are custom made in Fusion 360. The guitar was an especially interesting design trying to give it detail while also making components light up.
